PayMaya High Flyers
The PayMaya High Flyers or the PLDT Volleyball Club were a professional women's volleyball team. The women's team shared the same name as the men's team throughout most of its existence. In 2018, the women's team deviated and was named after the PayMaya service of PLDT Inc.. It was merged to Smart Prepaid Giga Hitters, an affiliate women's team in 2018. History The PayMaya High Flyers debuted in 2013 as the PLDT myDSL Speed Boosters women's team in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) during the 2013 Invitational Conference. A men's team debuted in the following conference. In 2014, while participating in the PSL, the club joined in the Shakey's V-League with its women's team as the PLDT Home Telpad Turbo Boosters during the 2014 Open Conference. The club ended its participation in the PSL after the 2014 season. In 2015, the club competed under the name PLDT Home Ultera Ultra Fast Hitters. becoming its first champion. PLDT High Speed Hitters
The PLDT High Speed Hitters (formerly the Smart Giga Hitters and the PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters) is the professional women's volleyball team owned by PLDT. History The team debuted in 2018 as the Smart Prepaid Giga Hitters. The team was owned by Smart Communications. For the 2018 PSL Invitational Cup, the team partnered with the Philippine Army Lady Troopers and competed as the Smart–Army Giga Hitters. In September 2018, the PayMaya High Flyers, their affiliate team in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), was merged with the team. In February 2019, the Smart Prepaid Giga Hitters changed its name to the PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters. The team transferred to the PVL in February 2021, following the league's professionalization. The team changed their name to the High Speed Hitters in January 2022, in a lead up to the upcoming PVL season. Czarina Grace Carandang
Czarina Grace Carandang (born November 26, 1997) is a Filipino volleyball player. Carandang played for the FEU Lady Tamaraws collegiate women's University team. She is currently playing for the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the Premier Volleyball League. Career Collegiate Carandang made her first game appearance with the FEU Lady Tamaraws in UAAP in the UAAP Season 79 where her team placed in 4th. Her team got a 10–4 win–loss record in the elimination round of UAAP Season 80 women's volleyball tournament. FEU Lady Tamaraws won over Ateneo Lady eagles in playoffs and semifinals, and sent FEU to its first finals appearance after 9-year drought. UAAP Season 83 was supposedly the last playing year of Carandang for the Lady Tamaraws, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was still cancelled, and she decided to forgo her final year to go pro. Charo Soriano
Maria Rosario "Charo" Soriano (born October 14, 1985) is a Filipino volleyball player, coach, and politician. Soriano is one of the founders of Beach Volleyball Republic, an outdoor volleyball tournament, and a board member of the Philippine National Volleyball Federation. She also serves as a city councilor of Tuguegarao since 2022. Volleyball career During her collegiate playing career for the Ateneo Lady Eagles, she played indoor and beach volleyball. Alyja Daphne "Jaja" Antonio Santiago (born January 20, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for Saitama Ageo Medics of the Japan's V.League. Alyssa Valdez
Alyssa Caymo Valdez (; born June 29, 1993) is a Filipino volleyball player who currently plays for the Creamline Cool Smashers. She was a member of the collegiate varsity women's volleyball team of Ateneo de Manila University in both indoor and beach volleyball. She was most outstanding as an indoor volleyball player where she brought multiple championship titles and a lot of honor for the university. She is a current member of Philippines national team. Roger Gorayeb
Roger Gorayeb is a Filipino volleyball coach and former college player. He is noted for being a multi-titled and longtime coach of the San Sebastian College – Recoletos de Manila women's team of the NCAA. Career Gorayeb has served as head coach of the San Sebastian College women's volleyball team. Under Gorayeb's watch, San Sebastian grabbed 11 consecutive championships for the women's team from 1986 to 1997, 22 women's volleyball titles, 6 titles in women's beach volleyball and 11 in junior's volleyball. Alyssa Eroa (born September 6, 1996) is a Filipino volleyball player and currently playing for the Marikina Lady Shoemasters in the Maharlika Pilipinas Volleyball Association (MPVA).
