George Pavlou
George Pavlou is a London-based British horror, science fiction and thriller film director. Pavlou directed three feature films of which two were based on material from British horror writer Clive Barker. Career He began his career directing and producing short films for the cinema. His first short ''Bad Company'' (1980), about a dysfunctional Greek family, won the Special Prize for Young Cinema at Tours film festival. His second short film as director, ''The Antagonist'' (1981), was released theatrically through Rank Films as a support film to ''Educating Rita''. The film starred Ed Bishop and Trevor Peacock. He subsequently co produced a third short titled ''Chickens Never Walk backwards'' (1982), released by 20th Century Fox theatrically as a support to ''Conan the Barbarian''. Kyriacos Pavlou
Kyriakos Pavlou ( gr, Κυριάκος Παύλου; born September 4, 1986) is a Cypriot footballer who plays for P.O. Xylotymbou. He is the brother of singer Maria Kyriakou Club career Pavlou debuted for AEK Larnaca F.C. in 2002. His nickname is ''Koullis''. In 2006, he transferred to the Greek team Panionios F.C. After failing to make the starting line-up in any competitive matches, he returned to Cyprus and AC Omonia. Since then, he has been on loan to other clubs and last played for Ermis Aradippou and Diagoras F.C. in Second Division of Greece. In 2011, he returned to Cyprus to play for APOP Kinyras Peyias FC but the team relegated. On March 23, 2011 he signed a 3-year contract with AEK Larnaca F.C. P.O. Stel Pavlou
Stelios Grant Pavlou (born 22 November 1970) is a British screenwriter and speculative fiction novelist. He is known for writing the novel '' Decipher'' and the screenplay for the film '' The 51st State''. Personal life Pavlou was born in Kent, England on 22 November 1970 and went to the Chatham Grammar School for Boys. He attended the University of Liverpool in American Studies and received a degree in American Studies, which required that he spend a semester in the United States. Pavlou also served in the Cypriot army for one year. Career After graduating from the University of Liverpool Pavlou applied to approximately 600 media jobs, but with no success. He wrote the script for the film '' The 51st State'' (known as ''Formula 51'' in the US) while he was living in Rochester, Kent and working for a local wine shop. Drew Pavlou
Drew Pavlou (born 4 June 1999) is an Australian political activist best known for his criticism of the Chinese government and Chinese Communist Party. Pavlou is also known for organising protests on-campus in support of the 2019–20 Hong Kong protests. In May 2020, he was suspended for two years from the University of Queensland (UQ), which alleged 11 instances of misconduct. The action drew national attention in Australia, including from former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd. An appeal of his case by the UQ Senate Disciplinary Appeals Committee upheld two of the initial charges and reduced his suspension to one semester. Pavlou returned to UQ in early 2021. In December 2021, Pavlou launched the Drew Pavlou Democratic Alliance federal political party.
