Pavitra (1986 Film)
''Pavitra'' is a 1986 Telugu language, Telugu-language drama (film and television), drama film, produced by B. R. Mohan and K. K. Viswanatham under the Vijaya Lakshmi Art Creations banner and directed by Vinay. It stars Rajendra Prasad (actor), Rajendra Prasad, Chandra Mohan (Telugu actor), Chandra Mohan, Bhanupriya and music composed by Krishna-Chakra. The film is a remake of the Tamil language, Tamil film ''Ingeyum Oru Gangai'' (1984) and was also remade in Kannada as ''Prema Gange''. Plot The film begins in a village where a decent girl, Pavitra, is striving hard for survival with her drunkard father, Narasimha, and three infant siblings. Kishtaiah, a ruffian therein, molds into a genuine with her acquaintance, and the two crush. Whereat, Narasimham mortifies Kishtaiah, seeking him bride price. Pavitra (2013 Film)
''Pavitra'' is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language adult film directed by Janardhana Maharshi starring Shriya Saran, Roja Selvamani, Tanikella Bharani and Kaushik Babu in pivotal roles. K. Sadhak Kumar and G. Maheswara Reddy produced this film on Aadesh films Banner. The Soundtrack is scored by M.M. Srilekha. Shriya seen in a bold role of a prostitute in this film. Pavitra also released in Tamil and Malayalam. According to the director, the film is inspired from a real incident where a prostitute, who was humiliated by a politician, goes on to defeat him in an election. Pavitra's audio already making waves amongst music buffs before the film release, the film's platinum disc function was held on 19 May to celebrate the audio success. Pavitra (disciple)
Pavitra (January 16, 1894 – May 16, 1969) (from the Sanskrit word for "pure") was one of the very early disciples of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. The name was one of Srimati Radharani's 1000 names. Early life He was born Philippe Barbier Saint-Hilaire in Paris. In 1914, he graduated from the Ècole Polytechnique with a degree in Engineering. He served in the army in World War I as an artillery officer, and after the war worked as a junior engineer in Paris, at the Ministry of transport and communication. Quest He was interested in occultism, and in 1920 departed for Japan to study Zen Buddhism. In 1924, he left Japan and spent time with tantric lamas in monasteries in North China and Mongolia. In 1925 Saint-Hilaire came to India and met Sri Aurobindo and The Mother in Pondicherry, where he was accepted as a sadhak, and Sri Aurobindo gave him the name ''Pavitra'' meaning "Pure". Pavitra Lokesh
Pavitra Lokesh is an Indian film and television actress. She appears primarily in Kannada and Telugu films playing supporting roles. The daughter of stage and film actor Mysore Lokesh, she made her film debut at the age of 16 and has since appeared in over 150 Kannada films. At 5 feet 10 inches she was the tallest actress at that time, but managing to do several noteworthy roles even acting alongside shorter leading men. For her performance in the Kannada film '' Naayi Neralu'' (2006), she was awarded the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress. Her husband Naresh is also an actor.
