Paulius Petrilevičius (born 23 March 1991) is a professional Lithuania, Lithuanian basketball player for CS Rapid București (men's basketball), Rapid București of the Liga Națională (men's basketball), Liga Națională. Standing at , he mostly plays at the Power forward (basketball), power forward position. Professional career Petrilevičius started his career in third-tier Natural Pharmaceuticals-RKL, Regional Basketball League by signing with JAZZ-Diremta Birštonas. On 10 July 2019, Petrilevičius signed with BC Pieno žvaigždės, Pieno žvaigždės Pasvalys of the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga, Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). On 2 August 2021, he re-signed with the team for an additional season. On 3 December 2022, Petrilevičius signed with Astoria Bydgoszcz of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). Power Forward (basketball)
The power forward (PF), also known as the four, is one of the five traditional Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. Traditionally, power forwards have played a role similar to center (basketball), centers and are typically the tallest or second tallest player on the court. Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL; ), also known as Betsafe LKL for sponsorship reasons, is the premier men's professional club basketball league in Lithuania. It is composed of 10 teams, and it is a member of the Lithuanian Basketball Federation. The best LKL clubs are also annual participants of the top European-wide basketball competitions, including the top-tier level EuroLeague. On April 22, 1993, the Lietuvos krepšinio asociacija (LKA; ) was founded. It was the first professional sports organisation in Lithuania. Lietuvos krepšinio lyga was built on the foundation of the LKA. Former basketball player Šarūnas Marčiulionis is named as the founder of the league. LSU-Atletas Basketball Players
KK Atletas () is a professional basketball club that is based in Kaunas district, Lithuania. Currently the team plays in the National Basketball League, in the past Atletas participated in the LKL and the Baltic League, before dissolving in 2007 and becoming BC Aisčiai-Atletas. In 2009, the team merged with BC Kaunas Triobet and played with the names of Kaunas, Baltai and LSU-Baltai. In 2013 club was renamed again to LSU-Atletas, which was merged with the NKL champions of the same name. Atletas are multiple time LKL finalists, and were once considered to be one of the strongest teams in Lithuania.
