Pauline Lecarpentier
Pauline Denise Lecarpentier (born May 1997) is a French freestyle wrestler. She won the silver medal in the women's 68kg event at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. She won the gold medal in her event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria. Career Lecarpentier won one of the bronze medals in the women's freestyle 68kg event at the 2017 Jeux de la Francophonie held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. A month later, she was eliminated in her first match in the women's freestyle 75kg event at the World Wrestling Championships held in Paris, France. In 2018, Lecarpentier finished in 4th place in the women's freestyle 68kg event at the Mediterranean Games held in Tarragona, Spain. She won the silver medal in the 62kg event at the Grand Prix de France Henri Deglane 2019 held in Nice, France. Amateur Wrestling
Amateur wrestling is a variant of wrestling practiced at Olympic Games, Olympic, Collegiate wrestling, collegiate, Scholastic wrestling, scholastic, and other levels. 2022 Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov Tournament
The 59th Dan Kolov & Nikola Petrov Tournament, was wrestling event held in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria between 17 and 20 February 2022. This international tournament included competition in both men's and women's freestyle wrestling and men's Greco-Roman wrestling. This tournament was held in honor of Dan Kolov who was the first European freestyle wrestling champion from Bulgaria and European and World Champion Nikola Petroff. 2020 Individual Wrestling World Cup
The inaugural 2020 Individual World Wrestling Cup was held in Belgrade, Serbia from 12–18 December 2020. It was a replacement event for the 2020 World Championships, which should have taken place in the same location, but since some criteria were not fulfilled, such as not less than 8 top nations from the previous championships to participate, the event is not counted as world championships. The Cup took place amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused this and other problems. The United States for instance chose not to participate. The 2022 Mediterranean Games (), officially known as the XIX Mediterranean Games and commonly known as Oran 2022, was an international multi-sport event held from 25 June to 6 July 2022 in Oran, Algeria. Oran was announced as the host city at the ICMG General Assembly in Pescara, Italy, on 15 August 2015. They were supposed to take place in 2021, but they were delayed to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 3,298 athletes (2,014 men and 1,284 women) took part in the games. Bidding process Five cities signed an official declaration of candidacy for hosting the 2021 Mediterranean Games, two from Africa and three from Europe: The final candidates were Oran and Sfax.
