Career In 2016, she won the silver medal at the Pan Am Badminton Championships in the women's doubles event partnered with Luz Maria Zornoza, they were defeated by Michelle Tong and Josephine Wu in the final round. She also competed at the 2016 BWF World Junior Championships and reached the second round. Luana Tamara de Oliveira Vicente (born 30 January 1994) is a Brazilian badminton player who won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games. Personal life Vicente was born on 30 January 1994 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her younger sister Lohaynny Vicente is also an international badminton player. When Luana was six, her father, a drug dealer, was killed in a shootout with police. Following her father's death her mother moved the family from the west of the city to Chacrinha, a favela in the north of Rio. She now lives with her sister in Campinas, São Paulo, in a house funded by the Brazilian Badminton Federation. Kristen Tsai (born 11 July 1995) is a Taiwanese born Canadian badminton player. She is the women's doubles champion at the 2019 Pan American Games, fifth time Pan Am Champion winning the women's singles title in 2012, and then the women's doubles title in 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. Career Tsai became the first Canadian ever to make in to the quarterfinals at the World Junior Championships. Rachel Honderich (born 21 April 1996) is a Canadian badminton player from Toronto, Ontario. She has been one of the top ranked women's individual and doubles player on the continent and a contender in major international competitions. She is a vice-national champion in women's singles and has won several international titles since 2010.
