In 2013, she also won two gold medals at the XVII Bolivarian Games in the women's singles and in the mixed team event, and a bronze medal in the women's doubles partnering with Camila García. Then, in 2017, she won three gold medals at the XVIII Bolivarian Games in the women's singles, in the women's doubles partnering with Dánica Nishimura and in the mixed doubles with Mario Cuba. Mary Alexandra "Alex" Bruce (born May 27, 1990) is a Canadian badminton player from Toronto, Ontario. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Women's doubles event with partner Michelle Li. Early career She started playing badminton at aged 8. Her parents were members of a badminton club that put on clinics for kids. She won silver in doubles at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games. Bruce studied Engineering and played Varsity Badminton for the University of Western Ontario, where she was named OUA Female Rookie of the Year in 2008. Luana Tamara de Oliveira Vicente (born 30 January 1994) is a Brazilian badminton player who won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games. Personal life Vicente was born on 30 January 1994 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her younger sister Lohaynny Vicente is also an international badminton player. When Luana was six, her father, a drug dealer, was killed in a shootout with police. Following her father's death her mother moved the family from the west of the city to Chacrinha, a favela in the north of Rio. Coliseo de la Ciudad Deportiva is an indoor sporting arena located in Havana, Cuba. Built in 1957, the Coliseum is one of the most important works of Cuban Civil Engineering. It is located at the intersection of Boyeros and Vía Blanca avenues in the Cerro Municipality. The capacity of the arena is for 15,000 spectators.
