Paul Underwood
Paul Underwood (born 16 August 1973) is a former professional association football, footballer. He previously played for Football League Two club Luton Town F.C., Luton Town. Underwood began his career with Carshalton Athletic, and after spells at Sutton United, Dorking F.C., Dorking and Molesey F.C., Molesey, he moved to Enfield F.C., Enfield. After a year at Enfield he joined Rushden & Diamonds for £50,000 in the summer of 1997. He made over 200 appearances during his time at Nene Park, and during this period he captained the club in the Football Conference and Football League Two title-winning campaigns. Underwood was signed by Luton Town F.C., Luton Town in March 2004, but was injured just 19 minutes into his debut – two days after joining the club. Wimbledon, London
Wimbledon () is a suburb of southwest London, England, southwest of Charing Cross; it is the main commercial centre of the London Borough of Merton. Wimbledon had a population of 68,189 in 2011 which includes the electoral wards of Abbey, Wimbledon Town and Dundonald, Hillside, Wandle, Village, Raynes Park and Wimbledon Park. The 2002–03 Football League (known as the Nationwide Football League for sponsorship reasons) was the 104th completed season of The Football League. Portsmouth won the First Division by some distance, passing manager Harry Redknapp's old club, West Ham on the way down. Leicester City earned a somewhat controversial promotion, as administration and a Creditor's Voluntary Agreement wrote off much of their debt. Partly as a result of this, the League would introduce a ten-point deduction for any teams going into administration from the next season onwards. The play-offs were won by Wolves, returning to the top flight after nearly 20 years and finally allowing owner Sir Jack Hayward to see the return he wanted on his years of investment. Michael Colin Newell (born 27 January 1965) is an English football manager and former professional footballer. As a player, he was a striker and represented 13 different clubs in his career, playing a total of 530 league games and scoring 120 goals. He was a member of the Blackburn Rovers team which won the Premier League in 1995, and in a game against Rosenborg in the 1995–96 season, Newell scored (what was at the time) the fastest-ever hat-trick in the UEFA Champions League, netting his three goals in a spell of only nine minutes. Newell also played for Crewe Alexandra, Wigan Athletic, Luton Town, Leicester City, Everton, Birmingham City, West Ham United, Bradford City, Aberdeen, Doncaster Rovers and Blackpool between the years of 1982 and 2001.
