Paul Tobias
Paul Tobias (also known as Paul Edward Huge (pronounced hugh-gee); born April 4th 1963) is an American guitarist best known for his work with the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he was associated from 1994 to 2002. Biography Born On April 4th 1963 in Indianapolis, Tobias grew up in Lafayette and is a childhood friend of Axl Rose. Following the formation of Rose's band Hollywood Rose in 1983, the band's demo tape featured two songs co-written by Rose and Tobias: " Shadow of Your Love" and "Back Off Bitch". In 1985, Rose formed Guns N' Roses and released their debut album, ''Appetite for Destruction'', in 1987. While "Shadow of Your Love" was re-recorded during the album's sessions, it did not make the final tracklist, though Tobias was thanked in the album's credits. The song was later released as a B-side of the album's first single, " It's So Easy/Mr. Brownstone". Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), known professionally as Slash, is an American musician, best known as the lead guitarist of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and mid-1990s. Slash has received critical acclaim and is considered one of the greatest guitarists in history. Born in Hampstead, London, Slash moved to Los Angeles with his father when he was six years old. His parents were both active in the entertainment industry, and he was given the nickname Slash as a child by actor Seymour Cassel. "Perhaps" is a song by the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, released as a single on August 18, 2023. A limited edition 7-inch vinyl, with " The General" as its "R-side", was originally scheduled to be released on October 27, 2023 but the release was postponed to December 8, 2023. Like the band's previous two singles, " Absurd" and "Hard Skool", the origins of this song date back to the writing and recording process of ''Chinese Democracy'' from the late 1990s. Background "Perhaps" was originally recorded during the ''Chinese Democracy'' sessions in 2000, and was leaked online in 2019 alongside other tracks from the same era. The song was rehearsed at the soundcheck for the Tel Aviv concert on June 5, 2023, and again before the band's Glasgow concert on June 27, 2023. ''Hard Skool'' is a single and the fourth extended play by the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses. The single was released on September 24, 2021, with the EP following on January 28, 2022. The EP consists of two singles and two live tracks, and is their first EP release with guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan since they rejoined the band in 2016, as well as the first works to feature new keyboardist Melissa Reese. Background Slash and McKagan left Guns N’ Roses in the late '90s, with Slash and vocalist Axl Rose having a longstanding public feud until repairing their relationship in 2015. Richard Fortus
Richard Fortus (born November 17, 1966) is an American guitarist. He is a member of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he has recorded one studio album, since 2002. Fortus has also collaborated extensively with The Psychedelic Furs frontman Richard Butler and fellow Guns N' Roses bandmate Frank Ferrer. Aside from lead singer Axl Rose and keyboardist Dizzy Reed, Fortus is the longest-tenured member of Guns N' Roses, having been with the band continuously since 2002.
