Paul Showler
Paul Showler (born 10 October 1966) is an English retired footballer. He began as a trainee at Sheffield Wednesday but after failing to get a professional contract he juggled a job as a police officer with non-league football. He returned to league football with Barnet, where he became a firm favourite down the left wing, becoming known for his goalscoring corner kicks. He later moved to Bradford City and Luton Town, before retiring in 1999. He graduated from the University of Salford in 1999 with a degree in Physiotherapy ''Graduation Booklet 1999'', pg 16 published by University of Salford, July 1999 and became a physiotherapist at Peterborough United. Batley is a market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, in West Yorkshire, England. Batley lies south-west of Leeds, north-west of Wakefield and Dewsbury, south-east of Bradford and north-east of Huddersfield. Batley is part of the Heavy Woollen District. Peterborough () is a cathedral city in Cambridgeshire, east of England.
