Paul Morgan (engineer)
Paul Jonathan Morgan (29 July 1948 – 12 May 2001) was a British engineer who co-founded Ilmor Engineering with Mario Illien in 1983. Ilmor had major successes providing engines for motorsport and won three Queen's Awards for Export Achievement. He was killed in a plane crash at Sywell, Northamptonshire on 12 May 2001. Morgan was an engineer at Cosworth from 1970 to 1983. In 1983 he left Cosworth to form Ilmor with fellow engineer Mario Illien. Ilmor was set up with backing from Roger Penske and achieved its first race win powering Mario Andretti's Lola at the Long Beach Grand Prix. In 1989, Morgan and Illien decided to enter Formula One. Paul Morgan was killed instantly when his Hawker Sea Fury overturned on landing. David Coulthard won the the day after Morgan's death in a Mercedes-Ilmor powered McLaren. Mark Paul Thomas Morgan (born 23 October 1978) is a Northern Irish former professional footballer Present: Head of Medical and Physiotherapy at Preston North End and the Northern Ireland national football team U19. Morgan played as a defender in a career lasted from 1997 until 2012, starting out with Preston North End in the 1997–98 campaign. He failed to make an appearance for North End from then until his departure in 2001 and also spent a spell on loan with League of Ireland side Sligo Rovers. His spell in Ireland brought a brief and solitary cap for the Northern Ireland U21 side. In 2001, he joined Lincoln City where he spent seven years of his career, notably qualifying for the League Two play-offs in four consecutive seasons, losing out in the 2002–03 and 2004–05 seasons at the final in the Millennium Stadium. Paul "Porky" Morgan (died 26 January 2001) was an Australian rugby league footballer, administrator and businessman. He is remembered for being co-founder of the Brisbane Broncos club. The Paul Morgan Medal for the Brisbane Broncos' best and fairest player of the season is named after him. He is best remembered as improving the conditions of players of the game of rugby league in Australia and was the key architect of the Super League concept. Paul William Morgan (born 11th August 1963) is the former superior of the British district of the Society of St Pius X, a traditionalist Catholic organisation in irregular canonical standing with the Holy See. Biography Morgan was ordained by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre at Écône on 29th June 1988. He has served in the United States and the Philippines, served as Principal of St. Michael's, the Society's school, and was Superior of the SSPX in Great Britain between 2003 and 2015.
