Paul Momirovski
Paul Momirovski (born 19 July 1996) is an Australian rugby league footballer who plays as a and er for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. He previously also played for the Sydney Roosters, before playing for the Wests Tigers, Melbourne Storm and Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League. In season 2020 he was on loan to Melbourne in the NRL. The arrangement between Wests and the Storm to trade Momirovski with Harry Grant for the 2020 NRL season was the first loan arrangement in National Rugby League history. He played at representative level for the Prime Minister's XIII and is a premiership winning player of 2021. Background Momirovski was born in Sydney and is of Macedonian descent. Western Sydney Stadium, commercially known as CommBank Stadium, is a multi-purpose rectangular stadium in Parramatta, within the Greater Western Sydney region, approximately west of Sydney CBD. Daine Laurie (born 20 July 1999) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Wests Tigers in the National Rugby League (NRL). He previously played for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL. Background Laurie was born in Sydney, but was raised in Iluka, New South Wales where his family is from. He is of Indigenous Australian descent, from the Bundjalung and Yaegl people, and is a relative of Cody Walker. Laurie is the nephew of his namesake Daine Laurie. Jacob Liddle (born 27 October 1996) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a for the St George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL. Robert Peter Farah ( ar, روبي فرح) (born 23 January 1984) is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. 2005 Wests Tigers Season
The 2005 Wests Tigers season was the 6th in the joint-venture club's history. They competed in the NRL's 2005 Telstra Premiership, captained by Mark O'Neill and Scott Prince and coached by Tim Sheens. The Tigers finished the regular season in 4th position before reaching the 2005 NRL grand final, their first. After a Clive Churchill Medal-winning performance by Prince, Wests won and claimed their maiden premiership. Minor Premiership The Tigers started the season at long odds for the 2005 premiership. Brett Hodgson (born 12 February 1978) is an Australian rugby league coach and former professional player during the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s. A New South Wales State of Origin representative goal-kicking , he played his club football in the NRL for the Western Suburbs Magpies, the Parramatta Eels and the Wests Tigers, with whom he won the 2005 NRL premiership. St George-Illawarra Dragons
The St. George Illawarra Dragons is an Australian professional rugby league football club, representing both the Illawarra and St George regions of New South Wales. The club has competed in the National Rugby League since 1999 after a joint-venture was formed between the St. George Dragons (est. 1921) and the Illawarra Steelers (est. 1982). They officially formed as the game's first joint-venture club on 23 September 1998 and it remains the only inter-city team in the NRL.
