Paul McCartney's Band

The core line-up of his band has been steady since 2002, and includes Wix Wickens on keyboards and serving as musical director, Rusty Anderson on guitar, Brian Ray on guitar and bass, and Abe Laboriel Jr. on drums. This line up is known to its members as 'The Band of Brothers'. History McCartney has had only two significant incarnations of a backing band since the breakup of Paul McCartney and Wings in 1981. The former band, active from 1989 to 1993 with occasional appearances thereafter, included his wife Linda McCartney on vocals and keyboards, Hamish Stuart on guitar and bass, Wickens on keyboards, and former Pretenders Robbie McIntosh and Blair Cunningham on guitar and drums respectively. Wickens' former collaborator in Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, drummer Chris Whitten, also featured early in this lineup. This lineup played on McCartney's studio albums ''Flo ...

Flowers In The Dirt
''Flowers in the Dirt'' is the eighth solo studio album by Paul McCartney. The album was released on 5 June 1989 on Parlophone, as he was embarking on his first world tour since the Wings Over the World tour in 1975–76. It earned McCartney some of his best reviews for an album of original songs since '' Tug of War'' (1982). The album made number one in the United Kingdom and Norway and produced several hit singles (the first being " My Brave Face"). The album artwork was a collaboration between artist Brian Clarke, who painted the canvas and arranged the flowers, and Linda McCartney, who produced the cover photography. The album was reissued in an expanded form under the '' Paul McCartney Archive Collection'' project in March 2017, with the original demos recorded by McCartney and Elvis Costello included as part of the release. Background and recording After the meagre sales for '' Press to Play'', McCartney realised that he needed to work much harder on his follow-up. Thus, ...

Back In The U
The human back, also called the dorsum (: dorsa), is the large posterior area of the human body, rising from the top of the buttocks to the back of the neck. It is the surface of the body opposite from the chest and the abdomen. The vertebral column runs the length of the back and creates a central area of recession. The breadth of the back is created by the shoulders at the top and the pelvis at the bottom. Back pain is a common medical condition, generally benign in origin. Structure The central feature of the human back is the vertebral column, specifically the length from the top of the thoracic vertebrae to the bottom of the lumbar vertebrae, which houses the spinal cord in its spinal canal, and which generally has some curvature that gives shape to the back. The ribcage extends from the spine at the top of the back (with the top of the ribcage corresponding to the T1 vertebra), more than halfway down the length of the back, leaving an area with less protection between the ...

Background McCartney recorded ''McCartney III'' in early 2020 at his own Hog Hill Mill studio in Sussex, while in lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some 18 months in the making, the album was produced by Radiohead and Beck collaborator Nigel Godrich at George Martin's suggestion. McCartney plays almost all of the instruments, similar to his 1970 album '' McCartney'', the 1980 '' McCartney II'' album and the 2020 '' McCartney III'' album. In addition, ''Chaos and Creation in the Backyard'' marks the first time since 1984's ''Give My Regards to Broad Street'' that McCartney was not credited as producer or co-producer of one of his studio albums. Super Bowl XXXVI
Super Bowl XXXVI was an American football game between the National Football Conference (NFC) champion St. Louis Rams and the American Football Conference (AFC) champion New England Patriots to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2001 season. The underdog Patriots defeated the heavily favored Rams by the score of 20–17. It was New England's first Super Bowl championship, and the franchise's first league championship of any kind. The game was also notable for snapping the AFC East's long streak of not being able to win a Super Bowl championship, as the division's teams had lost 8 Super Bowls between the Miami Dolphins' victory in 1974 and the Patriots' 2002 win. This was the last Super Bowl to feature the St. Louis Rams; after relocating to Los Angeles in 2016, the Rams returned to the NFL's championship game in Super Bowl LIII, in which they were again defeated by the Patriots. The Rams would not win another Super Bowl until Super Bowl LVI, as the Los Ang ...

Paul Is Live
''Paul Is Live'' is a live album by Paul McCartney, released in 1993 during his New World Tour in support of his studio album '' Off the Ground'', released that same year. ''Paul Is Live'' contains live recordings of McCartney and his touring band—which at the time included his wife Linda and guitarist Robbie McIntosh—performing songs by McCartney's former bands The Beatles and Wings, as well as songs from his solo career. The tracks included on the album were recorded at various concerts during his New World Tour, in several American cities and in Australia. The title of ''Paul Is Live'' is a parody to the "Paul is dead" conspiracy theory, and the album's cover artwork, which is based on that of the Beatles' 1969 album ''Abbey Road'', contains multiple references to the theory. ''Paul Is Live'' was McCartney's last live album for nine years, until the release of the double live album '' Back in the U.S.'', which coincided with his 2002 Driving World Tour. Title and c ...
