Paul John (rugby Union)
Paul John (born 25 January 1970 in Pontypridd) is a former Wales national rugby union team, Wales international rugby union player with 10 caps. He is the son of Dennis John (rugby union), Dennis John, former Wales head coach. Playing career A scrum-half (rugby union), scrum-half, he played his club rugby for Cardiff RFC, and then Pontypridd RFC, where he was captain. John started playing for Llantwit Fardre Cardiff from 1986/87 -1990/91. He won 10 Welsh caps, making his debut against Tonga in 1994. He retired as a player in 2005. Coaching career He was, until 2010, head coach at Pontypridd. He was assistant coach of the club, as well as a successful Head Coach of the Wales national rugby sevens team, Wales Sevens team, who won the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens. John was appointed backs coach for Cardiff Blues in January 2014. Paul John (Yupik Elder)
Paul Joseph John (1929 – March 6, 2015) was an American Yup'ik elder, cultural advocate, and commercial fisherman. John was a proponent of traditional Central Alaskan Yup'ik culture, including the use of the Central Alaskan Yup'ik language and a subsistence lifestyle, including wild food. Additionally, John helped to settle the village of Toksook Bay, Alaska. A traditional chief of the Nunakauyarmiut tribe, he was a member of the Association of Village Council Presidents (AVCP), which is based in Bethel, Alaska. Early life Paul John was born in the village of Old Cevv'arneq, also known as Chefornak, Alaska. He was raised in a sod house in an Alaskan village on the Bering Sea. John, who spoke very little English and conversed in fluent Central Alaskan Yup'ik language, recalled living with seals as a child to promote respect for animals. Paul John Whisky is a brand of Indian single malt and single cask whisky, manufactured by John Distilleries. The brand launched in London, England on 4 October 2012. Paul John Whisky is made from Indian 6-row malted barley and, for some variants, imported Islay and Aberdeen peat, distilled in traditional copper pot stills and then matured in charred American Oak casks at the company's distillery in Goa, India. Paul John Single Malt Whisky was first launched in 2012 in the United Kingdom, then in Goa, India, in 2013, and Bangalore in 2015.
