Paul James (born 13 May 1982 in Neath, Wales) is a former Welsh international rugby union player. James' position of choice was as a prop. In November 2009, James was called into the Wales team to play in the problem tight-head position against New Zealand at the Millennium Stadium on 7 November 2009. Neath (; cy, Castell-nedd) is a market town and community situated in the Neath Port Talbot County Borough, Wales. The town had a population of 50,658 in 2011. Premiership Rugby, officially known as Gallagher Premiership Rugby, or the Gallagher Premiership for sponsorship reasons, is an English professional rugby union competition. The Premiership has consisted of thirteen clubs since 2021, and is the top division of the English rugby union system.
