Charles Paul Telford Hutchison, known as Paul Hutchison (born 1947) is a New Zealand politician, health professional, and current Honorary Consul in New Zealand for Papua New Guinea. He is a member of the National Party, which he represented in the House of Representatives from 1999 to 2014. Early years Hutchison was born in Wellington, and attended Khandallah School and Onslow College. He is a graduate of the University of Otago with an MB ChB in 1970, and was a consulting specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology with his pre parliament medical career spanning almost 30 years. Member of Parliament Hutchison was first elected to Parliament as the MP for Port Waikato in the 1999 election, and was re-elected in the 2002 election and 2005 election, and for in the 2008 and 2011 elections, with increasing majorities each time. Paul Hutchison (English Cricketer)
Paul Michael Hutchison (born 9 June 1977, Leeds, Yorkshire, England) is an English former first-class cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman, and a left-arm fast-medium bowler. Hutchison played for the Under-17 and Under-19 England team. On Hutchison's first-class debut for Yorkshire County Cricket Club in 1997, he took 7 for 38, followed by a County Championship debut tally of 7 for 50, recording the best Yorkshire debut bowling return since Wilfred Rhodes in 1898. He went on to play thirty nine first-class matches for Yorkshire between 1996 and 2001, taking 143 wickets at 22.68, before being released by the county. At the start of the 1996 season Hutchison was selected to play in the Test trial match at Chelmsford where he played for 'The Rest of England' against England 'A'. The highlight being dismissing Nasser Hussain in the second innings. Paul Hutchison (Australian Cricketer)
Paul James Hutchison (17 February 1968 – 27 February 2015) was a professional Australian cricketer who played for Tasmania and South Australia. He was born in Glen Innes, New South Wales Hutchison also played for Queensland Country and Queensland academy, as well as playing club cricket in the Northern Territory. Hutchison had two sons, Mitchell and James who often visited during his debut performances while playing professionally for South Australia and Tasmania. Hutchison died in Brisbane on 27 February 2015 of cancer.
