Paul Horton
Paul James Horton (born 20 September 1982 in Sydney, Australia) is a retired former cricketer who played for Lancashire and Leicestershire in England and Matabeleland Tuskers in Zimbabwe. Early life Born 20 September 1982 in Sydney, Australia, Horton was raised in the city before moving to Liverpool, England, (the native home of his parents) as a teenager. His first season of cricket in England was played at Winstanley Park, a team based in Billinge, Wigan, with which he impressed and was noticed by Lancashire. The following season he played his club cricket at Sefton Park CC in Liverpool, as this league was of a higher standard. Durham County Cricket Club (rebranded as Durham Cricket in February 2019) is one of eighteen first-class cricket, first-class county cricket, county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. Ian Austin (cricketer)
Ian David Austin (born 30 May 1966) is a retired English first-class cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Lancashire County Cricket Club in 1987 (having played a single Sunday League match for them the previous season) and remained with that county for his entire career, scoring 3,778 runs at 27.98 and taking 262 wickets at 30.35 with his medium-pace seamers in his 124 matches. He also took 363 wickets in List A cricket. Enormously popular with the Lancashire crowd thanks to his uncomplicated batting style and equally old-fashioned waistline, his most successful period came towards the end of his career. In 1998, he helped his county to both NatWest Trophy and Sunday League success, winning the man of the match award in the final of the former. Graham Lloyd
Graham David Lloyd (born 1 July 1969) is a former English cricketer who played for Lancashire County Cricket Club (1988–2002) and in six One Day Internationals for England between 1996 and 1998. His final List A cricket appearance was for Cumberland County Cricket Club in 2003 against Scotland, a match in which he scored 123 runs. Lloyd played club cricket for Accrington Cricket Club, the town in which he was born. He is the son of former England coach and batsman David Lloyd, under whom he made all of his appearances for England. Stuart Grant Law (born 18 October 1968) is an Australian-born cricket coach and former cricketer. He is the current head coach of Nepal National Cricket Team. He was a part of the Australian squad which finished as runners-up at the 1996 Cricket World Cup. He played one Test and 54 One Day Internationals (ODIs) for Australia. The County Championship, currently known for sponsorship reasons as the Rothesay County Championship, is the only domestic first-class cricket competition in England and Wales. Established in 1890, it is organised by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) as a League system, two-league system. Futures League
The Second XI (currently known as the Toyota Second XI under naming rights) is a men's cricket league competed for primarily by Australian state and territory first-class cricket reserve teams. The competition is administered by Cricket Australia and is considered part of the national development pathway. Ordinarily a low-fanfare competition that exists purely as a bridge between the Sheffield Shield and grade cricket, the tournament reached its peak of public consciousness ahead of the 2009–10 season, when it rebranded to the Futures League. This coincided with a focus on youth, driven by a restriction on teams to field only three players over 23 years of age.
