Paul Giéra (22 January 1816 – 26 April 1861) was a French Provençal poet. Early life Paul Giéra was born on 22 January 1816 in Avignon. Death He died on 26 April 1861 in his hometown of Avignon. Legacy The Collège Paul Giéra in Avignon was named in his honour. Avignon
Avignon (, ; ; oc, Avinhon, label=Provençal or , ; la, Avenio) is the prefecture of the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of Southeastern France. Jean Brunet (27 December 1822 – 23 October 1894) was a French Provençal poet.
