Paul E. Trimble
Paul Edwin Trimble (March 24, 1913 – November 16, 2005) was a Vice Admiral in the United States Coast Guard who served as the 10th Vice Commandant from 1966 to 1970. He was born in Agenda, Kansas and was raised in Milaca, Minnesota. Agenda, Kansas
Agenda is a city in Republic County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 47. History Agenda (formerly Neva) was laid out in 1887 on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad line. The name Agenda derives from Latin meaning "what ought to be done". The first house in Agenda was erected by Joseph Cox in 1887. In the early 1900s, it had a money order post office with one rural delivery route, express and telegraph offices, several general stores and other business establishments, a bank, a grain elevator, and in 1910 reported a population of 200. United States Coast Guard Academy
The United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) is a service academy of the United States Coast Guard in New London, Connecticut. Founded in 1876, it is the smallest of the five U.S. service academies and provides education to future Coast Guard officers in one of nine major fields of study. Students are officers-in-training and are referred to as cadets, and upon graduation receive a Bachelor of Science degree and are commissioned as Coast Guard ensigns with a five-year active-duty service obligation, with additional years if the graduate attends flight school or subsequent government-funded graduate school. Out of approximately 250 cadets entering the academy each summer, around 200 graduate.
