Paul Cominges
Paul Manuel Cominges Mayorca (born 24 July 1975) is a Peruvian retired footballer who played as a striker. His last season as a footballer was in the 2010 Descentralizado season with José Gálvez FBC. He is nicknamed 'Papacito' ('Little Daddy') and is the older brother of midfielder Juan Cominges. Club career Cominges previously played for Coronel Bolognesi, where his nine goals helped guide the club to the Clausura 2007 title. He also played for PAOK and OFI Crete in the Greek Super League. International career Cominges has made seven appearances for the Peru national football team, including playing at the Copa América 1997. Coronel Bolognesi FC
Coronel Bolognesi Fútbol Club is a Peruvian football club located in the city of Tacna. Originally founded on 18 October 1929, It was named after Francisco Bolognesi. Years later, a second branch of the club called Club Sport Bolito, was founded on 27 May 1998. The club quickly surpassed its older counterpart's achievements and, following its success in 2001 Copa Perú, the president's club Elena Martorell (Fernando Martorell's sister, then president of CD Coronel Bolognesi), decided to change the club's name to Coronel Bolognesi Fútbol Club, in order to further identify both clubs's identities and share their successes. 1999 Torneo Descentralizado
The 1999 season of the Torneo Descentralizado was the 84th season of the top category of Peruvian football (soccer). It was played by 12 teams. The national champion was Universitario. The national championship was divided into two half-year tournaments, the Torneo Apertura and the Torneo Clausura. Each was played on a home-and-away round-robin basis. The winners of each would play for the national title in a playoff. If the same club had won both tournaments, it would have won the national championship automatically. Following-season Copa Libertadores berths went to the champion, as well as to the best other team in the aggregate table. The bottom team on the aggregate table was relegated, while the eleventh place held a promotion play-off against the winner of the Segunda División (Second Division). Apertura And Clausura In Peruvian Football
The Peruvian football champions are the winners of the highest league in Peruvian football, which is currently named as Liga 1 and organized by Peruvian Football Federation. The Liga Peruana de Football was established in 1912. It was an amateur league that lasted until 1921 due to scheduling and organizing conflicts. In this league only teams from Lima participated. In 1926, the Peruvian Football Federation took control of organizing the tournament and continued the Peruvian Primera División with the introduction of teams from Callao. In 1951, the Primera División turned professional and in 1966, the Torneo Descentralizado was founded in which the first non-capital teams were invited to play the first national championship. Juan Elías Cominges Mayorga (born 1 October 1983) is a Peruvian retired footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Cominges has risen to fame in the South American scene over the recent years. This right-footed midfielder first attracted attention due to being the younger brother of forward Paul Cominges, who had been an effective striker in the major clubs in Peru and at a few clubs overseas. Club career He got his chance in the youth divisions of popular club Universitario de Deportes and slowly earned a spot in the main team as well as in the national youth teams of Peru.
