Paul Collins (September 28, 1922 – July 16, 2012) was an American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). College career Collins attended the University of Missouri and was a member of the basketball, football, and track teams. As a senior, Collins led the Tigers with ten touchdowns scored and was named first team All-Big Six Conference. Professional career Collins was drafted in the second round of the 1945 NFL draft by the Chicago Cardinals. He played one season with the team, playing in three games with one start. and completing three of 17 passes for 43 yards with two interceptions. Collins lone start was a 10–0 loss on September 23, 1945, to the Detroit Lions. Paul Albert Collins (July 22, 1926 – January 31, 1995) was a long-distance runner from Canada, who was born in the London Borough of Lewisham. He represented his native country in the men's marathon at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. There he finished in 40th place. Collins won the national title in the classic distance three times: in 1949 (Toronto), 1950 (Verdun, Quebec) and 1952 ( Saint Hyacinthe). Sir Paul David Collins (born 27 February 1953) is a New Zealand businessman and sports administrator. Collins was born in Wellington in 1953. He has family ties to Martinborough and has lived there since the early 2000s. He was chief executive of Brierley Investments between 1985 and 1998, and was active the boards of several sporting bodies. He served as a governor of the New Zealand Sports Foundation from 1986, and was chair of the organisation from 1992 to 1999. He later chaired Sport New Zealand, formed by the merger of the Sports Foundation and the Hillary Commission. Collins was an inaugural trustee of Wellington Regional Stadium Trust from 1994, and chaired the trust between 2000 and 2012. He was also a member of the board of the Wellington Rugby Football Union and a director of the Hurricanes franchise. Paul Kitchener Collins (30 August 1915 — 26 December 2005) was an Australian rugby union international. Collins was born in Sydney and attended Barker College, where he won colours in athletics, cricket and rugby union. A fly-half, Collins was first called up by the Wallabies in 1937, making his Test debut against the Springboks at the Sydney Cricket Ground. He was capped a further two times the following year, in home Tests against the All Blacks, then made the team for the 1939–40 tour of Britain and Ireland, which was abandoned two days after they arrived in England due to the war. Paul Collins (born 31 May 1997) is an American Samoan footballer who plays as a defender for Pago Youth in the FFAS Senior League and the American Samoa national football team. Club career Collins started his career with Lion Heart. In 2015, he moved to Utulei Youth. Paul Lamar Collins (born December 11, 1934) is an American realist painter. Collins is known for his skillful use of textures, light, and attention to detail. Career Collins' art grew out of his study, long experimentation, and determination. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan and moved to Grand Rapids at a very young age. Paul went to school in Ada and Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was discouraged from taking art seriously because of its seemingly "impractical" potential as a future career. Collins spent his youth growing up in a predominantly black neighborhood. He found encouragement and influence from Randy Brown, a highly educated artist and poet who came from the south, persuaded him to pursue a career in art.
