Paul Barnett (born September 1968, in Kingswinford, Staffordshire, England) is a Television Producer and Director. Career After spending his early career creating and directing computer generated imagery sequences, Paul moved on to directing special effects sequences for film and television, before working as a freelance television director and producer for the BBC, ITV, Channel Four and Channel Five. Since 2002, Paul has directed and produced several high-profile British television documentaries and factual entertainment series. Kingswinford is a town of the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley in the English West Midlands (county), West Midlands, situated west-southwest of central Dudley. In 2011 the area had a population of 25,191, down from 25,808 at the 2001 Census. The current economic focus of Kingswinford is education and housing for commuters. One of the main show features was a weekly comparison between an overweight person, and an underweight person. The two were taken to a feeding clinic, and lived together for five days (later on two days), swapping diets while supervised by Dr Christian Jessen. Overview The overweight person swapped diets with the underweight person. While the underweight person was suddenly given more food than they would usually eat in a few days at one meal, the overweight person was usually given tea, coffee, a small snack, or nothing sometimes.
