Paul Adam (music)
Paul Adam is a British songwriter, music manager and former television personality. Adam has worked as a songwriter for singers such as Dannii Minogue, Amy Macdonald and The Noisettes. He was director of A&R at Polydor Records. In 2001 he was one of the judges on ITV's ''Popstars'', with fellow judges Nigel Lythgoe and Nicki Chapman. The series itself saw the birth of successful group Hear'Say. When the second series was commissioned in September 2002, Adam decided not to return as he was too busy working as a music executive at RCA Records, he was replaced by Irish music manager Louis Walsh. As of 1 June 2012, Adam is currently the director of Global Group Global Media & Entertainment Limited, trading as Global, is a British media company formed in 2007. Nicki Chapman (born 14 January 1967) is an English television and radio presenter, talent show judge and public relations agent who previously worked in the British pop music industry. Hear'Say were a British pop group. They were created through the ITV (TV network), ITV reality TV show ''Popstars (British TV series), Popstars'' in February 2001, the first UK series of the international ''Popstars'' Media franchise, franchise. The group, who were signed to Polydor Records, originally consisted of Danny Foster (musician), Danny Foster, Myleene Klass, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw, and Noel Sullivan. Nigel Lythgoe OBE (; born 9 July 1949) is an English television and film director and producer, television dance competition judge, former dancer in the Young Generation and choreographer.
