Patryk Klimala (born 5 August 1998) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Be'er Sheva Club career Early career Born in Świdnica, Klimala began his career in Żarów about twelve kilometers north of Świdnica. He played for the club until 2012 when he went on to Lechia Dzierżoniów. From here, Klimala moved to Legia Warsaw's youth boarding school in 2014. Legia loaned the attacker back to his previous club Dzierżoniów from 2015 to 2016. While with Dzierżoniów he played in the III liga appearing in seven matches and scoring one goal. Jagiellonia Białystok Jagiellonia Białystok signed Klimala in July 2016. There he played for the U19 team for the first few months. Świdnica
Świdnica (; german: Schweidnitz; cs, Svídnice; szl, Świdńica) is a city in south-western Poland in the region of Silesia. As of 2019, it has a population of 57,014 inhabitants. It lies in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, being the seventh largest town in that voivodeship. From 1975–98 it was in the former Wałbrzych Voivodeship. Poland Ekstraklasa (), meaning "Extra Class" in Polish, named PKO Ekstraklasa since the 2019–20 season due to its sponsorship by PKO Bank Polski, is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. Odra Opole () is a football club based in Opole, Poland, currently playing in the I liga. History Beginnings The history of Odra Opole began on 16 June 1945, when in the Opole Town Hall, a group of sports officials gathered to form a new Polish sports organisation. Under first chairman, lawyer Leonard Olejnik, Odra organised first post-WWII sports competition in the city: street running (July 1945). The Polish Cup in football ( pl, Puchar Polski w piłce nożnej ) is an elimination tournament for Polish football clubs, held continuously from 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( pl, Puchar Tysiąca Drużyn ). Participation is open to any club registered with the Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid. Reserve and veteran teams are also eligible, with reserve teams reaching the final on two occasions (and winning it once).
