Patrick Yetman
Patrick Yetman (born November 17, 1980) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Playing career Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Patrick played junior level hockey for Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL in 1998–99, transferring to Moncton Wildcats for the 1999–2000 and 2000–01 seasons. He was not drafted by the NHL, and turned professional with the Augusta Lynx of the ECHL at the end of the 2000–01 season, playing some games with Kansas City Blades as well. He played the full 2000–01 ECHL season with Augusta, but played some games with Springfield Falcons of the AHL, and a playoff game with the Hartford Wolf Pack. The next season was mixed between Hartford, Augusta and Dayton Bombers. In 2003, Patrick moved to Europe to play two seasons with ESV Kaufbeuren. Augusta Lynx
The Augusta Lynx were a minor-league professional ice hockey team based in Augusta, Georgia. The Lynx played their home games at the James Brown Arena. The Lynx, who played in the ECHL, had affiliations with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the NHL and the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL. The team was named for The Masters golf tournament held annually in Augusta, with the "Lynx" name a play on the golf term "hitting the links". The Lynx folded midway through the 2008-09 season on December 2, 2008, when it was announced that they were suspending operations and voluntarily relinquishing their league membership. Goal (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, a goal is scored when the puck entirely crosses the goal line between the two goal posts and below the goal crossbar. A goal awards one point to the team attacking the goal scored upon, regardless of which team the player who actually deflected the puck into the goal belongs to (see also own goal). Typically, a player on the team attempting to score shoots the puck with their stick towards the goal net opening, and a player on the opposing team called a goaltender tries to block the shot to prevent a goal from being scored against their team. The Lahti Pelicans are a Finnish professional ice hockey team playing in the Liiga. Founded in 1996, they play in the city of Lahti at Isku Arena. The team is co-owned by (among others) former National Hockey League (NHL) goaltender Pasi Nurminen and Formula One racecar driver Valtteri Bottas. Eliteserien, known as Fjordkraftligaen due to sponsorship, is the premier Norwegian ice hockey league, organised by the Norwegian Ice Hockey Association. Storhamar Dragons
Storhamar Hockey, often referred to by its initials SIL, is a Norwegian ice hockey team based in Hamar, Norway. The club currently plays in the Fjordkraft-ligaen, the highest level of Norwegian hockey. The club has won seven regular season titles and seven national championships since its founding on 18 March 1957. Storhamar play their home games in the CC Amfi. ESV Kaufbeuren (ESVK) is a professional ice hockey team based in Kaufbeuren, Germany. They currently play in DEL2 DEL2 (also known as DEL II) is the second tier ice hockey league in Germany, below the ''Deutsche Eishockey Liga'' (DEL) and ahead of the '' Oberliga''.
