Patrick Reinsborough (born 1972) is an American writer, activist, social change theorist and practitioner. He is the co-author of ''Re:Imagining Change: How to Use Story-based Strategy to Win Campaigns, Build Movements and Change the World'' (PM Press, 2010/2017) and contributor to social movement anthologies including ''Globalize Liberation: How to Uproot the System and Build a Better World'' (City Lights, 2004) and ''Beautiful Trouble: A Toolbox for Revolution'' (OR Books, 2012). Climate justice is a concept that addresses the just division, fair sharing, and equitable distribution of the burdens of climate change and its mitigation and responsibilities to deal with climate change. "Justice", "fairness", and "equity" are not completely identical, but they are in the same family of related terms and are often used interchangeably in negotiations and politics. Applied ethics, research and activism using these terms approach anthropogenic climate change as an ethical, legal and political issue, rather than one that is purely environmental or physical in nature.
