Patrick Alexander (comics)
Patrick Alexander, sometimes going by the alias Reid, is an Australian cartoonist. Though known for comics such as ''Raymondo Person'', ''The Wraith'', ''Pink Chickens'', ''Mania'', ''Krash'', and ''AAAAAAAH'', Alexander has also collaborated on various Dark Horse Comics publications. Career Alexander is known for his creations, ''Raymondo Person'', ''The Wraith'', ''Pink Chickens'', which ran for thirteen issues of the Australian kids magazine, ''Mania'' from 2001 until 2002 before being replaced by ''Tobias & Jube'' which continued in the kids magazine, ''Krash'' between 2005 and 2006. Alexander then moved to Sydney and was employed as a deputy editor for ''Total Gamer''. Alexander then was employed by Eegra, a video gaming website, to produce a weekly webcomic. Dark Horse Comics is an American comic book, graphic novel, and manga publisher founded in Milwaukie, Oregon by Mike Richardson in 1986. 3CR Melbourne
3CR is a community radio station that broadcasts on the AM band and on the digital spectrum as 3CR Digital in Melbourne, Australia. It features mainly talk-based programs with political (particularly trade unions) and environmental themes, as well as some music and community language-based programs. Today the station hosts over 130 programs presented by over 400 volunteers. The radio station is located in Smith Street, Fitzroy, Victoria. Mike Richardson (born June 29, 1950) is an American publisher, writer, and Emmy-winning producer. In 1986, he founded Dark Horse Comics, an award-winning international publishing house located in Milwaukie, Oregon. Richardson is also the founder and President of the Things From Another World retail chain and president of Dark Horse Entertainment, which has developed and produced numerous projects for film and television based on Dark Horse properties or licensed properties. ComicsAlliance was an American website dedicated to covering the comic book industry as well as comic-related media, and is owned by Townsquare Media. The site has been nominated for multiple awards including a 2015 Eisner Award win in the category Best Comics Periodical/Journalism. History ComicsAlliance was established in 2007 as part of an online network of sites owned by AOL, and run by editors-in-chief John Anderson and Chris Dooley. Newsarama is an American website that publishes news, interviews, and essays about the American comic book industry. It is owned by Future US. In June 2020, Newsarama was merged with the website GamesRadar+, also owned by FutureUS. History Newsarama began in mid-1995 as a series of Internet forum postings on the Prodigy comic book message boards by fan Mike Doran. In the forum postings, Doran shared comic book-related news items he had found across the World Wide Web and, as these postings became more regular and read widely, he gave them the title "Prodigy Comic Book Newswire."
