''Pathfinder'' is a line of roleplaying game supplements published by Paizo Publishing since 2007. Originally designed for use with the revised 3rd edition of ''Dungeons & Dragons'', they transitioned to the first edition of the ''Pathfinder Roleplaying Game'' in 2009, then to the second edition of ''Pathfinder'' in 2019. Three lines of supplements are produced as of August 2019: *''Pathfinder Adventure Path'' *''Pathfinder Adventures'' *''Pathfinder Lost Omens'' One previous line, ''Pathfinder Player Companion'', has been discontinued. Necromancer Games
Necromancer Games was an American publisher of role-playing games. With offices in Seattle, Washington and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, the company specialized in material for the d20 System. Most of its products were released under the Open Game License of Wizards of the Coast. The company's slogan, "Third Edition Rules, First Edition Feel," alluded to the fact that while its products used the third edition of the ''Dungeons & Dragons'' rules system, they strove to mimic the flavor and style found in the game's Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, first edition (1977–1989). ''Black Gate'' is a fantasy magazine published by New Epoch Press. It was published in glossy print until 2011, after which it shifted online. History First launched in October 2000 using the slogan "Adventures in Fantasy Literature," ''Black Gate'' primarily features original short fiction up to novella length. It also features reviews of fantasy novels, graphic novels, and role playing game products. This is supplemented by columns and articles reflecting on fantasy literature's past as well as the occasional interview. RPGnet is a role-playing game website. It includes sections on wargaming, wargames, tabletop games and video games, as well as columns on gaming topics. RPGnet was founded in 1996 by Emma and Sandy Antunes, Shawn Althouse ( etrigan) and Brian David Phillips, as a way to unify a number of transient game sites. In 2001 it was purchased by Skotos Tech, but maintains creative and editorial autonomy. Currently it is being run by Shannon Appelcline of Skotos, while a number of volunteer Forum moderator, moderators and administrators help maintain the forums. James Jacobs (game Designer)
James Jacobs is an American designer and author of role-playing games and texts in the fantasy, horror and the occult genres. Career Jacobs has been involved in the role-playing industry since the age of sixteen, when his adventure "Scepter of the Underworld" was published in ''Dungeon (magazine), Dungeon'' #12 in 1988. in ''Kobold Quarterly'' #12 Jacobs grew up in Point Arena, California, and went to college at the University of California, Davis. He moved to Seattle after graduating from college and worked his way into Wizards of the Coast's sales department. An Adventure Path is a series of interlinked adventures (campaign) for tabletop role-playing games which can be played in succession and lead characters to advance from lower to higher levels, through a particular path of events. Portable document format (PDF), standardized as ISO 32000, is a file format developed by Adobe in 1992 to present documents, including text formatting and images, in a manner independent of application software, hardware, and operating systems. Based on the PostScript language, each PDF file encapsulates a complete description of a fixed-layout flat document, including the text, fonts, vector graphics, raster images and other information needed to display it. Green Ronin Publishing is an American company based in Seattle, Washington. Founded in 2000 by Chris Pramas and Nicole Lindroos, they have published several role-playing game–related products.
