Maitrayee Patar
Maitrayee Patar ( as, মৈত্ৰেয়ী পাটৰ) is an Indian writer poet and musical artist from Assam best known for her work in Assamese literature and new-age music. She married IIT-B alumnus Arindam Baruah in 2020. Early life and education Patar was born in Guwahati on 7 April 1990, belongs to Tiwa community (an indigenous Tribal community). She did her post-graduation in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics. She also pursued Master of Philosophy in Women's studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Career Literature Patar is the author of poetry book ''Mor Kolmou Dinor Xonali Baat'' (2015). She had been selected for ''Poets Translating Poets 2019'' (January) edition, the prestigious cultural exchange workshop of literature of German and Indian languages, hosted by Goethe Institut. Surjit Patar
Surjit Patar is a Punjabi language writer and poet of Punjab, India. His poems enjoy immense popularity with the general public and have won high acclaim from critics. Biography Patar hails from village Pattar ( pa, ਪੱਤੜ) Kalan in Jalandhar district from where he got his surname. He graduated from Randhir College, Kapurthala and then went on to get a Master's degree from Punjabi University, Patiala and then a PhD in Literature on "Transformation of Folklore in Guru Nanak Vani" from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He then joined the academic profession and retired as Professor of Punjabi from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. He started writing poetry in mid-sixties. Vincent Patar
Vincent Patar (born 2 September 1965) is a Belgian film director and screenwriter. In 2009 he wrote and directed the animated film ''A Town Called Panic'' along with Stéphane Aubier. It premiered at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival and was the first stop-motion film to be screened at the festival. In 2013 he co-directed with Aubier and Benjamin Renner the film ''Ernest & Celestine'', which received widespread critical acclaim. The film received three Magritte Awards, including Best Film and Best Director for Patar and Aubier. Paat ( sd, پاٹ, Pāṭ), also known as Pat or Goth Pat, is a small town in the Dadu District of Sindh, Pakistan. It is located at 20°28'0N 48°68'0E with an altitude of . As of 2017, it has a population of 9,507, in 1,707 households. It is the seat of a tapa. Pat is on the right bank of Indus river, known as cultural educational and commercial hub of midland Sindh. Paat Sharif lies between the west bank of the Indus River and the Dadu Canal. Its climate has been recorded as one of the hottest places in the world, with temperatures reaching 53.5 °C (128.3 °F) on 26 May 2010. The town is surrounded by fertile agriculture land, which is irrigated by water from the Dadu canal. The local people have limited access to potable drinking water.
