Pat Weisner
Patrick Weisner (born 17 March 1982) is a professional rugby league Coach (sport), coach and a former professional rugby league footballer who played for Ireland national rugby league team, Ireland at international level. Background Weisner was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Playing career A junior for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Weisner played in their 2000 Jersey Flegg Cup team alongside Braith Anasta and Roy Asotasi. He was a part of three consecutive Grand Final wins for The Bulldogs in 1999, 2000 and 2001 in Jersey Flegg Cup and NSW Cup competitions. In England, Weisner played for the Leigh Centurions, Halifax R.L.F.C., Halifax, London Broncos#2006–2011: Harlequins Rugby League, Harlequins RL, Barrow Raiders and Hull Kingston Rovers. The North Sydney Bears are an Australian rugby league football club based in Cammeray on Sydney's North Shore (Sydney), North Shore. The club currently competes in the NSW Cup, having exited the National Rugby League following the 1999 NRL season after 90 years in the premier rugby league competition in Australia. At the end of the 1999 season, the club merged with the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles to form the Northern Eagles which only lasted two years and the license was reverted to the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles leaving the Bears without top flight representation. The Italy national rugby league team represents Italy in rugby league football. With origins dating back to the 1950s and 1960s, the team has competed regularly in international competitions since 2008, when their current governing body, the Federazione Italiana Rugby League, was formed. The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. They compete in the National Rugby League (NRL).
