Pat Tunney
Patrick Tunney (1 February 1872 – 28 November 1949) was an Irish born, English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s. He played at representative level for England, and at club level for Salford, as a Forward. Playing career International honours Pat Tunney won a cap for England, he played as a forward in the 3–9 defeat by Other Nationalities at Central Park, Wigan on Tuesday 5 April 1904, in the first ever international rugby league match. Tunney won 18 caps playing for Lancashire.
