Patrick "Pat" LaCroix (born 1938) is a Canadian musician and photographer. Early life and education LaCroix attended the Westlake College of Music in Los Angeles. Career While at college La Croix was part of The Four Winds vocal quartet with fellow student Gordon Lightfoot Gordon Meredith Lightfoot Jr. (November 17, 1938 – May 1, 2023) was a Canadian singer-songwriter who achieved worldwide success and helped define the singer-songwriter era of the 1970s. The Halifax III
The Halifax Three (or the Halifax III), originally the Colonials, was a folk music band in Canada in the 1960s. The band performed in Toronto and Montreal before becoming part of the New York folk scene and recording an album. History Denny Doherty, Pat LaCroix and Richard Byrne formed the Colonials in 1960 in Halifax NS where they hosted a CBC TV program. After performing in Toronto and Montreal, the band changed its name to The Halifax Three in 1963, and, with the addition of Toronto born Zal Yanovsky, toured with the Journeymen and played Carnegie Hall in New York City. Lisa LaCroix
Lisa LaCroix is a Canadian actress and fashion model who began her career in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After training as an actor in New York City's Circle in the Square Theatre School, she returned to Toronto, and starred in numerous Canadian and American television shows and movies. In 1996, she moved to Los Angeles to focus on American television acting. In 2000, LaCroix became interested in the Human Potential Movement, studied to be a business coach, moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and began a private practice training and coaching business people in 2001. "San Francisco Bay Blues" is an American folk song and is generally considered to be the most famous composition by Jesse Fuller. Fuller first recorded the song in 1954, which was released by the World Song label in 1955. Sing Along With Mitch
''Sing Along with Mitch'' was a music television show, led by choral director Mitch Miller, that ran from 1961 to 1964. Each episode consisted of Miller's male chorus singing old, familiar standards, along with famous songs from movies and Broadway shows. Certain episodes had a theme (holidays, vaudeville, romance, the circus, etc.) and the hour's musical selections would be staged according to the theme. The emphasis was on the men's voices, usually accompanied by only an accordion and a rhythm section. Format At the start and end of each episode, lyrics to songs were shown at the bottom of the television screen, hence the ''Sing Along'' title, but no bouncing ball on television.
