Pat Harvey
Pat Harvey (born November 13, 1955) is an American broadcast journalist. She joined KCAL 9 in Los Angeles in 1989, and in 2010 began co-anchoring for KCAL sister station KCBS news at 5, 6 & 11 PM. She is the longest-running anchor in prime time at one station in Los Angeles. For her 20th anniversary, the city of Los Angeles and Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors declared October 30, 2009, Pat Harvey Day. In June 2015 Harvey received the LA Area Emmy's Governor's Award. In 2012, Harvey was inducted into the National Association of Black Journalists Hall of Fame at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. The Papanicolaou test (abbreviated as Pap test, also known as Pap smear (AE), cervical smear (BE), cervical screening (BE), or smear test (BE)) is a method of cervical screening used to detect potentially precancerous and cancerous processes in the cervix (opening of the uterus or womb) or, more rarely, anus (in both men and women). Abnormal findings are often followed up by more sensitive diagnostic procedures and, if warranted, interventions that aim to prevent progression to cervical cancer. AIDS Epidemic
The global pandemic of HIV/AIDS (human immunodeficiency virus infection and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) began in 1981, and is an ongoing worldwide public health issue. Michaela Pereira
Michaela Pereira (born August 26, 1970) is a Canadian television personality best known as being a former anchor for KTLA in Los Angeles and for the KTTV FOX11 Los Angeles morning show, ''Good Day LA''. She announced on March 28, 2013, that she would be leaving KTLA in May to be a part of the CNN morning show '' New Day'' that debuted on June 17, 2013. Christine Devine (born November 2, 1965) is an American television news anchor based in Los Angeles. She can be seen weeknights on KTTV's ''Fox 11 News''. Marc Alan Brown (born September 29, 1961) is an American television news anchor at KABC-TV in Los Angeles. Brown co-anchors the station's ''Eyewitness News HD'' newscasts at 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. Brown has earned four Emmy Awards, a Golden Mike, an Associated Press and a Radio and Television News Director Association award.
