María Rosa García García (born 15 January 1978 in San Fernando, Cádiz, San Fernando, Province of Cádiz, Cádiz), better known as Niña Pastori, is a Spanish flamenco singer (cantaora). Biography María Rosa García was born in 1978 in the town of San Fernando in Cadiz. The youngest of five siblings and only daughter of a military man (José García) and flamenco singer "La Pastori" García. Her stage name is "Niña Pastori" because among her siblings of five older brothers, she was the only woman and she was referred to as "la niña", she was also "la única hija de la Pastori" (the only daughter of la Pastori) and when she went on stage people remarked “va a cantar la niña de la Pastori” (la Pastori's girl is going to sing). Her initial name was "La niña de la Pastori", but she later changed it to "Niña Pastori". She went to junior school at the Vicente Tofiño school in San Fernando (Cádiz). Giuseppina Pastori
Giuseppina Pastori (12 October 1891 – 13 July 1983) was an Italian physician and biologist. She worked at the University of Milan, researching histology, and then became a lecturer of histology and professor of biology at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. She was initially denied permission to take up the role by the Vatican. Her younger sister, Maria Pastori, was professor of mathematics at the University of Milan. Life Pastori was born in Milan, Italy in 1891 to a family of eight children. Her father was a groundskeeper, and her mother a lacemaker. Pastori attended public schools in Milan until the age of eight, and the family encouraged the children to study a trade following this mandatory schooling. Pastori declared her intention to study medicine, which was summarily forbidden by her mother. Maria Pastori
Maria Pastori (10 March 1895 - 17 April 1975) was an Italian mathematician and teacher. She was a Professor of Rational Mechanics at the University of Milan, and worked on differential calculus and the application of mathematics to electromagnets. Life Pastori was born in Milan on 10 March 1895, to a family of eight children. The family was of limited means and could not afford education for the children beyond what was provided by the public school system. Pastori excelled in mathematics, which was encouraged by one of her teachers, who aided her in getting a scholarship to Maria Agnesi School, a magisterial school (similar to a teacher's college). After completing her studies at the magisterial school, Pastori then went on to teach elementary school near Milan. While teaching, Pastori studied further with her sister Giuseppina (who became a physician and biologist). Antonietta Pastori (born 1929) is an Italian operatic soprano, particularly associated with lighter lyric and coloratura roles. Born in Milan, Pastori studied piano and singing at the Milan Conservatory. She made her debut at the Teatro Nuovo in 1951, as Gilda in ''Rigoletto'', and at La Scala in 1956, in Niccolò Piccinni's opera ''La buona figliuola''.
