Pasquale Marino
Pasquale Marino (born 13 July 1962) is an Italian football manager and former player, currently in charge of club Salernitana. Playing career A midfielder, Marino started for his home team, Marsala. Marino never played in divisions higher than Serie C1 and ended his career for Catania in 1996–97. Coaching career His coaching career began in 1997–98 for Serie D team Milazzo, where he nearly won the league on his debut, ending in second place. However, his outbreak came at Paternò, which he led on two consecutive promotions from Serie D to Serie C1. He then signed for Serie C2 Foggia, which led to an immediate Serie C1 promotion. He made his Serie B debut in 2004–05 with Arezzo, replacing Mario Somma. Fired in the half-season and replaced by Marco Tardelli, he was successively recalled at the helm of the team, ending in 14th place. Marsala
Marsala (, ; ) is an Italian comune located in the Province of Trapani in the westernmost part of Sicily. Marsala is the most populated town in its province and the fifth largest in Sicily.The town is famous for the docking of Giuseppe Garibaldi on 11 May 1860 (the ''Expedition of the Thousand'') and for its Marsala wine. Francesco Guidolin (; born 3 October 1955) is an Italian association football, football manager and former player, most recently the manager of Premier League team Swansea City A.F.C., Swansea City. Stadio Angelo Massimino (previously known as Stadio Cibali) is a multi-use stadium in Catania, Italy. It is used mostly for football matches and the home of Calcio Catania. Marco Tardelli (; born 24 September 1954) is an Italian former football player and manager. At club level, he played as a midfielder for several Italian clubs; he began his career with Pisa, and later played for Como, Juventus, and Internazionale, before retiring with Swiss club St. Gallen. He enjoyed a highly successful career with Juventus, winning five league titles, as well as multiple Coppa Italia titles, and four major UEFA competitions ( European Cup, Cup Winner's Cup, UEFA Cup and UEFA Super Cup), becoming one of the first three players ever to win all three major UEFA club competitions, along with Italy and Juventus teammates Antonio Cabrini and Gaetano Scirea. Mario Somma (born 17 September 1963) is an Italian football manager. Playing career Somma, who was born in Latina, Lazio, started his career with Genoa and then spent his later years mostly at the Serie C1 and Serie C2 level, playing for several Campanian teams. He retired in 1997. Coaching career Somma started his coaching career in 1997 with amateur team Pro Cisterna, and then served as head coach for several other Serie D teams, including Potenza and Cavese, winning promotion to Serie C2 with the latter. The Serie D () is the highest level of semi-professional football in Italy, and the fourth tier of the Italian national league system. It sits beneath the third and lowest fully professional league, Serie C, and feeds in to it through promotion and relegation.
