Pascal (given Name)
Pascal is a masculine and feminine given name. It is a Francophone name, cognate of Italian name Pasquale, Spanish name Pascual, Catalan name Pasqual and Portuguese name Pascoal. ''Pascal'' is common in French-speaking countries, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. Derived feminine forms include ''Pascale'', ''Pascalle'' or ''Pascalina''. Pascal is also common as a surname in France, and in Italy (in Piedmont, Aosta Valley and, as ''De Pascal'', in Friuli-Venezia Giulia). Pascal derives from the Latin ''paschalis'' or ''pashalis'', which means "relating to Easter", from the Latin term for "Easter", ''pascha'', Greek Πάσχα, from the Aramaic ''pasḥā'' (Hebrew ''pesach'') "Passover" (since the Hebrew holiday Passover coincides closely with the later Christian holiday of Easter, the Latin word came to be used for both occasions). The Christian given name is in origin from the meaning "one born on Easter day", or "born on Pentecost" (see below). Variations of the given ...

Pascal And Maximus
Pascal and Maximus are a pair of animals who first appear in Walt Disney Pictures' 50th animated feature film '' Tangled'' (2010) as supporting characters, and subsequently star in its short '' Tangled Ever After'' (2012), television film '' Tangled: Before Ever After'' and television series '' Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure''. Created by directors Nathan Greno and Byron Howard, both characters are usually left unvoiced, although in '' Tangled Ever After'', Nathan Greno provides the voice of Maximus while Dee Bradley Baker voices both characters in the continuity presented in ''Rapunzels Tangled Adventure''. A comedic chameleon and horse duo, Pascal and Maximus serve as sidekicks to main characters Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, respectively. In ''Tangled'', Pascal resides alongside Rapunzel in Mother Gothel's tower, while Maximus is a police horse originally trained to arrest Flynn Rider before he befriends him at Rapunzel's insistence. In ''Tangled Ever After'', Pascal and Ma ...
