''Party Face'' (also known as ''Boom?'') is a play by Isobel Mahon. Originally premiering in Galway at the Town Hall Theatre in November 2017. The play went on to have an Off-Broadway production at New York City Center, starring Academy Award winner Hayley Mills. Set in Dublin, the story follows a woman named Mollie Mae as she hosts a party in her newly renovated kitchen. However, what starts as a friendly gathering quickly spirals into chaos as deep-seated issues, secrets, and personal struggles come to the surface. Isobel Mahon
''Glenroe'' is an Irish television soap opera broadcast on RTÉ One for 18 years between September 1983 and May 2001. ''Glenroe was'' centred on the lives of the people living in the fictional rural village of the same name in County Wicklow. The real-life village of Kilcoole was used to film the series. The series was also filmed in studio at RTÉ and in various other locations when directors saw fit. The show was a Spin-off (media), spin-off from ''Bracken (TV series), Bracken'' — an RTÉ drama that was broadcast from 1980-1982, which was itself spun off from ''The Riordans'' — another RTÉ drama that was broadcast from 1965-1979. ''Glenroe'' was broadcast, generally from September to May, each Sunday at 8:30 pm. Claudia Carroll
Claudia Carroll (born c. 1969) is an Irish author and actress. She has been a regular on the RTÉ One soap opera Fair City. The ''Irish Times'' Irish Theatre Awards recognise outstanding achievements in Irish theatre. History The awards were founded in 1997 by ''The Irish Times''. Awards were established in numerous categories, ranging from design, to acting, to overall production. The goal was to promote adventuresome theatre, both in the Republic and in Northern Ireland. Description In addition to the awards for specific excellence, the judges also present a special award for leadership in the overall community. Show-Score is an independent leisure website founded in 2015 as a New York City theatre review aggregator, community review site, and ticket finder. It has been likened to "the ''Rotten Tomatoes'' for theatre" and also to TripAdvisor, and provides a 'leaderboard' of most active reviewers and most liked shows. However, it is not limited to numerical reviews. As of March 2017 its userbase of 125,000 had submitted nearly 200,000 reviews, an increase of more than 50% over August 2016.
