Davood Parsa-Pajouh
Davood Parsa-Pajouh (Persian language, Persianداوود پارساپژوه) was a prominent scholar at the University of Tehran. He was professor of the Department of Forest product, Wood Science and Technology at the Faculty of Natural Resources, and the author and translator of several books and articles in this area. Biography Parsa-Pajouh was born in Tehran at 1941. After graduation from Hadaf Educational Group, Hadaf High School, he entered the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Tehran. He received his bachelor's degree in Forest and Range Engineering at 1965. Thereafter, he was awarded a National Scholarship to continue his post-graduate study at the French National School of Forestry in Nancy, France. He returned to Iran in 1970 after receiving his PhD degree in Wood Technology & Engineering, and started to work as a lecturer in the Faculty of Natural Resources. Nasrat Parsa
Nasrat Parsa (, February 22, 1968 – May 8, 2005) was an Afghan singer. Up until his death, he continued his music in exile from Hamburg, Germany, occasionally touring other countries. Death On May 7, 2005, Nasrat Parsa performed a concert in Vancouver, Canada, on the occasion of Mother's Day, opening a comprehensive tour that was scheduled to include several cities in North America. Following the concert, Nasrat was with his brother, Najib Parsa outside their hotel. They were approached by three young male fans, who asked for the singer's autograph and to take a picture with him. One of the men, 19 years old at the time, then punched Nasrat in the face. The punch caused Nasrat to lose his balance and he fell down onto four concrete stairs. The severity of his brain injuries resulted in his death the next day. Khwaja Abu Nasr Parsa was a 15th century Sufi mystic of the Naqshbandi Sufi order. He died in 1461 at Balkh, where his tomb now stands in the complex of the Green Mosque.
