Nowon District () is one of the List of districts of Seoul, 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea, located in the most northeastern part of the metropolitan city. It is considered to be a residental district, due to its high concentration of apartments and residental buildings. It has the highest population density in Seoul, with 619,509 people living in the area of 35.44 km². Characteristics Nowon District was formed in 1988 by splitting from Dobong District. The sixteen administrative neighborhoods comprising Dobong-dong, Chang-dong, Wolgye-dong, Gongneung-dong, Hagye-dong, Junggye-dong, and Sanggye-dong became a part of the new Nowon District. KBS 1TV is a South Korean free-to-air television channel that launched on 31 December 1961 and is owned by Korean Broadcasting System. The channel offers more serious programming than its sister channel KBS2, and airs with no commercials. History KBS1 was not the first television channel in South Korea. DBC (Daehan Broadcasting) was established on May 12, 1956 and aired to a limited television audience. The channel was owned by the Korean RCA Distribution Company (KORCAD) and initially took on its name, as well as the call sign HLKZ TV. The station broadcast on the same frequency KBS1 would later operate on in Seoul. ''Quiz of God'' () is a South Korean television series broadcast on cable channel OCN. It was the first medical/forensic crime investigation drama to air in Korea.
