Paramount International Networks
Paramount International Networks (PIN) is the international division of the Paramount Media Networks subsidiary of Paramount Global that oversees the production, broadcasting and promotion of its brands outside of the United States. These brands include Paramount Network, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon and BET, as well as other channels co-owned with AMC Networks International. PIN also owned a 30% stake in the Rainbow S.p.A. animation studio in Italy from 2011 to 2023 and a stake (majority, then later minority) in Viacom18, an Indian joint venture with domestic partner TV18, from 2007 to 2024. The division is headquartered within Paramount Global's offices in New York City and London, with other international offices located in São Paulo, Berlin, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Lagos, Madrid, Milan, Mumbai, Paris, Singapore, Budapest, Belgrade and Sydney amongst others. Robert Marc Bakish ( ; born December 14, 1963) is an American business executive. He became the president and CEO of Paramount Global on December 4, 2019, formerly holding the same position at Viacom (2005–2019), Viacom before the 2019 merger of CBS and Viacom, merger with CBS Corporation. BET International (Black Entertainment Television) is an international television channel centred towards black culture. It is available in Africa, along with the Middle East/North Africa region. It was launched on 28 February 2008 in the UK and on 1 December 2015 with headquarters in London. BET broadcast content from the main Black Entertainment Television channel in the US. A rainbow is an optical phenomenon caused by refraction, internal reflection and dispersion (optics), dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a continuous visible spectrum, spectrum of light appearing in the sky.
