Parambrata Chatterjee is an Indian film actor, director, producer, and television personality. He has a significant following in West Bengal, India. Parambrata started his career with Bengali television and films. He made his Hindi debut in ''Kahaani'' (2012), starring along with Vidya Balan. He also acted in ''Bhalo Theko'' (2003), which is Vidya Balan's debut film. He has a very good knowledge of world music and has sung for few Bengali films like '' Chaya Manush'' and ''Samantaral''. He has acted in many television series, tele-films, short films and features. His directorial debut feature film is ''Jiyo Kaka'', starring Rituparna Sengupta and Rudranil Ghosh. He has acted as the fictional character Topshe from Feluda under Sandip Ray's direction. He made his Hindi debut in ''Kahaani'' (2012), starring with Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. His notable works include ''Bhalo Theko'' (2003), ''Baishe Srabon'' (2011), ''Sold'' (2014) directed by Jeffrey D. ''Shonar Pahar'' is a 2018 Indian Bengali drama film directed by Parambrata Chattopadhyay. The film portrays the journey and friendship between two people, a 7-year old young orphan and a 70-year old grandmother. Feluda, or Prodosh Chandra Mitra [Mitter], is a fictional detective, Private investigator created by famous Indian director and writer Satyajit Ray. Feluda resides at 21 Rajani Sen Road, Ballygunge, Calcutta, West Bengal.
