Paquirri
Francisco Rivera Pérez (; 5 March 1948 – 26 September 1984), better known as Paquirri (), was a Spanish bullfighter. He died after being gored by a Spanish Fighting Bull, bull named Avispado at the Pozoblanco bullring. During his career, he was six times borne shoulder-high out through the Great Gate at Las Ventas. Early life Rivera was born to Agustina Pérez Núñez (Tarifa, 1922–1977) and the ''novillero'' (novice bullfighter who fights yearlings) Antonio Rivera Alvarado (born in Barbate, 17 February 1920; died in Cádiz, 10 November 2009), who was in charge of Barbate's municipal slaughterhouse, where Rivera and his brother José Rivera Pérez, José Rivera "Riverita", who also became a bullfighter, began their bullfighting. Francisco de Asís Rivera Ordóñez (prev. The Duke of Montoro; born 3 January 1974 in Madrid) is a Spanish ''torero'' or bullfighter. Family lineage Rivera comes from a long line of famous bullfighters: his great-grandfather was Cayetano Ordóñez, ''El Niño de la Palma''; his grandfather was Antonio Ordóñez; his great-uncle was Luis Miguel Dominguín; his father was Francisco Rivera Paquirri; his brother is Cayetano Rivera Ordóñez; his cousin is José Antonio Canales Rivera. José Rivera Pérez
José Rivera "Riverita" Pérez (24 February 1947 ― 21 January 2021) was a Spanish bullfighter. He was the brother of Paquirri. Riverita was born in Barbate, Province of Cádiz on 24 February 1947 from the marriage between ''novillero'' Antonio Rivera and Agustina Pérez. He debuted in his hometown in 1962. His first ''novillada'' was on 13 June 1965 in Madrid's bullring "Las Ventas". He took the alternative as a bullfighter, in El Puerto de Santa María on 1 September 1967, acting as Miguelín's godfather and Diego Puerta as witness. He retired from the arena in 1970, subsequently participating in some sporadic events. He was brother of the iconic bullfighter Francisco Rivera "Paquirri" and uncle of DJ and socialite Kiko Rivera, son of Isabel Pantoja, and of the matadors Francisco Rivera Ordóñez, Francisco and Cayetano Rivera Ordóñez and José Antonio Canales Rivera. María Isabel Pantoja Martín (; born August 2, 1956) is a Spanish singer. She was born in the Triana district of Seville, Spain. She has released more than a dozen albums throughout a career spanning many decades, mostly of '' copla'' genre, and is known for her distinctive Andalusian style. Biography She was born in a Romani family of musicians. Both her father and grandfather were singers. Pantoja began performing precociously at the age of seven in the flamenco ensemble of her cousin Chiquetete. Antonio Mejías Jiménez (; 25 June 1922 – 7 October 1975), better known as Antonio Bienvenida (), was a Venezuelan-born Spanish bullfighter who belonged to the Bienvenida bullfighting dynasty. Eleven times he came out, borne on his fellow bullfighters' shoulders, through the Great Gate at Las Ventas (a great honour in the bullfighting world) as one of the most important bullfighting figures of the 1950s. Cemetery Of San Fernando
The Cemetery of San Fernando () is located in the San Jerónimo district, north of the city of Seville, Andalusia, Spain. It was built in 1852, and it is the only municipal cemetery in the city. Antonio Cayetano Rivera Ordóñez (born 13 January 1977 in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish ''torero'' or bullfighter. Family ties Rivera is the son of Francisco Rivera 'Paquirri' and Carmen Ordóñez. He belongs to a long line of famous bullfighters: his great-grandfather was Cayetano Ordóñez, who fought under the name 'El Niño de la Palma', and was the inspiration for the young matador in Ernest Hemingway's novel ''The Sun Also Rises''. His grandfather, the great matador Antonio Ordóñez, was a friend of Hemingway and of Orson Welles. Andrés Mazariegos Vázquez (; 25 July 1932 – 17 June 2022), known professionally as Andrés Vázquez "El Nono", was a Spanish bullfighter. Among his influences in tauromachy were Juan Belmonte, Domingo Ortega and Antonio Bienvenida. The ''alternativa'' ("alternative"), in Spanish-style bullfighting, is the act by which a ''novillero'' is authorized to be considered a ''torero'', so that he can alternate in bullfighting with other bullfighters of the same category, both in bullfighting on foot and on horseback. La Monumental
The Plaza de Toros Monumental de Barcelona, often known simply as La Monumental (), is a bullring in the city of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was the last bullfighting arena in commercial operation in Catalonia. It was inaugurated in 1914 under the name ''Plaza de El Sport'' and was soon expanded and given its current name in 1916.
