Paolo Del Debbio
Paolo Del Debbio (born 13 February 1958) is an Italian journalist, television presenter and politician. He is also a lecturer in ethics and economics at the IULM University of Milan. Biography Paolo Del Debbio was born in Lucca in 1958. He obtained a bachelor's degree in philosophy from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome and a degree in philosophy from the Pontifical Urban University. In 1988 Del Debbio began working for Silvio Berlusconi's Fininvest group, first as coordinator of the research department and then as assistant to CEO Fedele Confalonieri. At Fininvest, Del Debbio met Gina Nieri, with whom he married and had two daughters: Maddalena and Sara. Working at Fininvest until 1993, he was among the founders of Forza Italia, the liberal-conservative party launched by Berlusconi. Lucca
Lucca ( , ) is a city and ''comune'' in Tuscany, Central Italy, on the Serchio River, in a fertile plain near the Ligurian Sea. The city has a population of about 89,000, while its province has a population of 383,957. The Tuscan regional election of 1995 took place on 23 April 1995. For the first time the President of the Region was directly elected by the people, although the election was not yet binding and the President-elect could have been replaced during the term. ''Il Giorno'' is an Italian-language national daily newspaper, based in Milan, Italy; it has numerous local editions in Lombardy. History and profile ''Il Giorno'' was founded by the Italian businessman Cino Del Duca on 21 March 1956, with the journalist Gaetano Baldacci, to challenge ''Corriere della Sera'', also a daily newspaper published in Milan. Later, because of a financial crisis, Italian public administrator Enrico Mattei and the state-owned oil company Eni bought part of the publishing company. Gabriele Albertini (born 6 July 1950 in Milan) is an Italian politician. Biography In 1974 he Graduated in Law from the University of Milan. He was the Manager of ''Albertini Cesare Spa'', a company working in the aluminium pressure die casting sector, from 1974 to 1997. In 1987 he became a delegate for small business on the executive board of Federmeccanica (the Italian Mechanical Engineers' Trade Union Federation) and in 1996 he became its Chairman (until 1997).
