Paolo Enrico Tusi Contis (born March 14, 1984) is a Filipino actor host singer and comedian of Italian descent. Contis debuted as a child actor in the ABS-CBN show '' Ang TV'' during the 1990s. A GMA Network artist for 17 years, he has won several acting awards. Biography and career Contis was born to an Italian father and a Filipino mother. He was a popular child actor who appeared in various movies during the mid-1990s. Despite being cast in the popular teleserye '' Mara Clara'', Contis was better known for being part of the kids-oriented program '' Ang TV'', and the primetime sitcom '' Oki Doki Doc''. Venancio Johnson Paras Jr. (born October 2, 1968), better known as Benjie Paras, is a Filipino actor, comedian, and a retired professional basketball player who played for Shell Turbo Chargers and San Miguel Beermen of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is an annual film festival held in Metro Manila, Philippines. The festival, which runs from December 25 (Christmas) through New Year's Day and into first weekend of January in the following year, focuses on Filipino films. During the course of the festival, movie theaters show only films that are approved by its jurors and exclude foreign films except in 3D theaters and IMAX theaters. Since 2010s, film entries were played in select 3D cinemas that it can show movies in 2D format.
