Dima Hasao
Dima Hasao district (), is an administrative district in the state of Assam, India. As of 2011, it is the least populous district of Assam. Dima Hasao district is one of two autonomous hill districts of Assam. The district headquarters Haflong is the only hill station in the state. Etymology "Dima Hasao" means "Dimasa Hills" in the Dimasa language. Kopili River
Kopili River is an interstate river in Northeast India that flows through the states of Meghalaya and Assam and is the largest south bank tributary of the Brahmaputra in Assam. Course The Kopili originates in the Meghalaya plateau and flows through Central Assam and the hill districts of Assam before its confluence with the Brahmaputra. Haflong is a town and headquarters of Dima Hasao district (formerly North Cachar Hills) in the state of Assam in India. It is the only hill station in Assam. Etymology Haflong is a Dimasa word meaning '' ant hill''. Lumding
Lumding is a town with a municipal board in Hojai District in of Assam state in India. It is the location of Lumding Junction railway station, a hub for India's Northeast Frontier Railway network. Lanka (; ) is the name given in Hindu epics to the island fortress capital of the legendary Rakshasa king Ravana in the epics of the ''Ramayana'' and the ''Mahabharata''.
