A panel painting is a painting made on a flat panel of wood, either a single piece or a number of pieces joined together. In statistics and econometrics, panel data and longitudinal data are both multi-dimensional data involving measurements over time. Panel edge staining is a naturally occurring problem that occurs to anodized aluminium and stainless steel panelling and façades.
