''Pandurangadu'' is 2008 Telugu language, Telugu-language biographical film, based on the life of Pundalik, Pundarika, produced by K. Krishna Mohana Rao on R. K. Film Associates banner, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, Tabu (actress), Tabu and Sneha (actress), Sneha and music composed by M. M. Keeravani. The film is remake of N. T. Rama Rao-starrer ''Panduranga Mahatyam (film), Panduranga Mahatyam'' (1957). The film received positive reviews, but it became a Box-office bomb, box office bomb. Plot Pundarika Ranganathudu is a follower of Krishna but for the wrong reasons and does not listen to his father and his mother. He does all the mischievous things that Krishna did in his reign. Nandamuri Balakrishna
Nandamuri Balakrishna (born 10 June 1960), also known as Balayya or NBK, is an Indian actor, film producer, politician and philanthropist known for his works in Telugu cinema. Balakrishna is an elected member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Hindupur Assembly constituency, Hindupur constituency since 2014. Suhasini (Telugu Actress)
Suhasini is an Indian actress, who has predominantly appeared in Telugu films. Career Suhasini hails from Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh, India. Her acting debut was B. Panduranga Mahatyam (film)
''Panduranga Mahatyam'' () is a 1957 Indian Telugu-language biographical film, based on the life of Pundarika, produced by N. Trivikrama Rao under the National Art Theatres banner and directed by Kamalakara Kameswara Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Anjali Devi and B. Saroja Devi (in her Telugu debut) with music composed by T. V. Raju. The film was dubbed into Tamil as ''Annaiyum Pithavum Munnari Dheivam'' (1959) and it was again remade as the Telugu film ''Pandurangadu'' (2008). Plot The film begins with Vritra a Rakshasa conducting a tremendous penance for Siva and frightened Indra, creating several obstacles but in vain. So, he is slain by Indra when enraged Vritra curses him to turn into a stone. Ergo, Siva appears and proclaims that when Vishnu launches at Chandrabhaga river, he will be emancipated.
