Pandi, Bulacan
Pandi , officially the Municipality of Pandi (), is a municipality in the province of Bulacan, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 155,115 people. Pandi is one of the youngest towns in Bulacan. During the Spanish Regime, Pandi was a part of the political jurisdiction of the town of Meycauayan City including the towns of San Jose del Monte, Bocaue, Marilao, Valenzuela, Obando, Santa Maria, Balagtas, it also formed part of the vast Hacienda Santa Maria de Pandi, which included the towns of Santa Maria and Balagtas and parts of Angat and Bustos. ''Pandi'' is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language masala film written and directed by Rasu Madhuravan. Pandi Melam
Pandi melam is a classical percussion concert or melam (ensemble) led by the ethnic Kerala instrument called the chenda and accompanied by ilathalam (cymbals), kuzhal and Kombu. A full-length Pandi, a melam based on a thaalam ( taal) with seven beats, lasts more than two-and-a-half hours, and is canonically performed outside temples. It has basically four stages, each of them with rhythmic cycles (thaalavattam) totalling 56, 28, 14 and seven respectively. The most celebrated Pandi Melam is staged inside a temple compound at the ''Vadakkunnathan'' shrine's precincts in the central Kerala town of Thrissur. Pandi Geço (1913–1994) was an Albanian geographer. He was best known for his unique regionalization of Albania into four physical-geographic regions, a regionalization proposed for the first time by him and still used today. He was also the author of the first Albanian academic textbooks of geography. Early life and higher education Pandi Geço was born in Korçë, Albania in 1913, the only son of Niko Geço and Katerina Ballauri. He received his primary education in his hometown, Korçë, where he continued his secondary and tertiary education in French language at the Albanian National Lyceum. Pandi Raidhi (14 April 1921 – 18 July 1999) was an Albanian actor, and recipient of the People's Artist of Albania recognition. Raidhi was mostly known for his performance since the 50s in theater and films, as well as for his comic role of Uncle Bako in The Lady From The City and its sequel. Biography Raidhi was born on 14 April 1921 in Korçë in southern Albania.
