Panda Basketball Academy
PANDA Basketball Academy is a youth basketball academy located in the town of Štip in North Macedonia North Macedonia, ; sq, Maqedonia e Veriut, (Macedonia before February 2019), officially the Republic of North Macedonia,, is a country in Southeast Europe. It gained independence in 1991 as one of the successor states of Socialist Feder .... It opened in May 2008 and started practices in "Toso Arsov HS" gym. After a couple of months, practices ware also held at the "Dimitar Miraschiev HS" gym. PANDA Basketball Academy has teams in three categories (youngsters under 17, 15 and 13 years of age) as well as a mini-basket league team. Its founder and president is Tane Spasev, who is also the head coach of the teams. The teams compete in the Macedonian Basketball Federation. Basketball
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop.
