Panathinaikos B.C. (), also simplified to Panathinaikos, and as Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens for sponsorship reasons, is the professional basketball team of the major Athens-based multi- sport club Panathinaikos A.O. It is owned by the Giannakopoulos family. The parent athletic club was founded in 1908, while the basketball team was created in 1919, one of the oldest in Greece. Along with Aris, they are the only un-relegated teams with participation in every Greek First Division Championship. Panathinaikos has developed into the most successful basketball club in Greek basketball history, and one of the most successful in European basketball, creating its own dynasty. The Greek Basketball League (GBL), and also known as the Stoiximan Greek Basketball League (GBL) for sponsorship reasons, is the Greek basketball league system, first tier level professional basketball league in Greece. Antonio Davis
Antonio Lee Davis (born October 31, 1968) is an American former professional basketball player who played for the Indiana Pacers, Toronto Raptors, Chicago Bulls, and New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Byron Antom Scott (born March 28, 1961) is an American former professional basketball player and head coach in the National Basketball Association (NBA). As a role player, Scott won three NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers during their Showtime era in the 1980s.
